The Indigenous Circle Approach to Cultural Confidence™ is the Reconciliation “How-To” Guide everyone’s been looking for, and is offered in two different formats.
This FACILITATED course is offered a couple of times per year. It includes access to the full six-module online course materials and resources and features weekly live group classes and coaching via tele / video conference facilitated by Shannon Monk Payne and the Sakatay Global team. It’s an incredible opportunity to explore your learning in a safe and comfortable environment.
The course is intended for those interested in deepening their understanding of Indigenous issues in a supported learning environment, with opportunities to engage live, ask questions, and listen to others’ stories and experiences. In addition to accessing the course content online, participants have multiple ways to interact with other participants and Indigenous subject matter experts, including through our private Facebook group conversations. This is the course to take if you appreciate the value of peer interaction and facilitated learning as you begin to build your cultural confidence.
The course materials are located on our online campus and include a series of incredible videos with up to four guest panelists (Elders, Knowledge Keepers, Youth) per week bringing their unique perspectives and traditional world views to the class. Each participant also has access to our valuable curated collection of supplemental resources specific to each module. This is an extraordinary course that creates meaningful engagement and transformation for those committed to reconciliation.
